Emma Bunton: Hi big kiss to all my fans and you can ask me anything you want
Shawn: I have been a big Spice Girls fan since 1996, I love your 1st solo album and waited forever for it to be released in Canada...My question is, will you be doing any solo tours in the future?
Emma Bunton: Absolutely, that's the next thing I'm working on at the moment. I'm very busy promoting the album. But my next thing is to tour all over the world so keep an eye out! It'll be a very visual exciting show.
jamey: Which song are you most proud of on the album?
Emma Bunton: Ooooh, that's a hard one because they're all quite personal and I love them all but I think my favourite would have to be Higher Love which I wrote for my mom and I think everyone can identify with it. Because we all have someone we love very much.
Jewel: What was the hardest part about choosing the first single off your solo album?
Emma Bunton: Actually I was very lucky as soon as I wrote What Took You So Long I knew it had to be a first single. Just because it had such a strong melody and it really stood out for me.
Ylesi: How do you feel the events of 9/11 have affected everyone?
Emma Bunton: I think it's been devestating and I want to be as positive for all my fans...cause it's a hard time and we do have to move on positively.
Geri: What have you got in your pockets just now? ::laughs::
Emma Bunton: Okay...lip gloss, a little bit of cash, my mobile phone, and I always have a bit of chewing gum.
Ricardo: Will you do a duet with Gerri?
Emma Bunton: (Laughs) - I don't think so, there's lots of people I'd like to work with, Janet Jackson, Stevie Wonder, too many to mention!
leomccarron45@hotmail.com: When the cameras are turned off and the shows are over, what does Emma like to do in her spare time? And after the Spice Girls what else do you want to do?
Emma Bunton: Well I love watching movies...my favourite movie is "Romeo & Juliet" and I'm a big fan of "Friends" as well so I've got the whole set. I just like hanging out with my friends, doing the normal things really. Obviously if I go out, sometimes it's hard (with the press). You just have to be aware that they're out there.
Carlos Rodríguez: Tell me about how u write a song, i mean..when you feel you have to do it..do u write all and then you give it music..??
Emma Bunton: Generally, I've got a little black book that I write down notes and it really helps with my lyrics. I work with other producers and we have a guitar for melodies, we start writing lyrics, we work very well together.
Anonymous: Hi Emma What was the greatest experience from being a Spice Girl??
Emma Bunton: Again this is a hard one because I think it's been the most amazing time of my life. Great friendships, meeting some amazing people and learning lots of things along the way. We are concentrating on solo careers at the moment but we're the best of friends and we've been talking about touring again so thats something you'll need to look out for. Stay tuned.
Becky Walker: Is there anyone special in your life right now and do you plan on having children??
Emma Bunton: Yes there is someone special and no, I'm not planning for children. I'm still too young. I've still got so much more to learn, so much more to do. I babysit for Mel B quite a lot for Pheonix, she's amazing and Brooklyn and it's quite nice to give them back.
mark leslie s.rodriguez: hi emma, here in the philippines, it's very hard to be a sucessful artist. what's your advice on how to become a big star?
Emma Bunton: I would say first of all, just being yourself and believing in what you do, you have to do everything you want to, don't let people push you into different areas. I've always kind of gone with my gut instincts and that's always made me happy.
jb: Is it true that you are in negotiations to do a duet with Vanilla Ice?
Emma Bunton: HA HA HA HA, absolutely NOT!!!!
Kseniya: Hi,Emma!Who is your favourite popstar?
Emma Bunton: Do you know what? At the moment I'm quite a big fan of Britney, I love her new track, she's just great. I went to her concert, very clever the way one moment she's very girly, the next very sexy. In the audience there were men and children. She's very varried.
Brittni Hsu: Hey Emma! I'd like to know since Geri and Victoria released autobiographies, I want to know if you are planning to do one too. Thanx Peace Here in the U.S. God bless!
Emma Bunton: I think I'd like to do one when I'm older. At the moment, there's so much more that I have to learn. I think it'll be much more interesting if I write it in my later years.
Melanie: You said that you all stayed good friends, does this include Geri as well? You know how the press and rumors go...
Emma Bunton: Yeah I've seen her quite a few times, I am much closer with the other girls. We haven't seen Geri as much but everything is fine with us it's just that she's not as close as the rest of us are. I think also, we went through so much with touring, we did a lot and it was quite hard work. We went through a lot together.
Angie V.In TBay, Ont Canada: Has being in the Spice Girls taught you any life lessons?
Emma Bunton: Absolutely, it's made me a lot more confident a lot more independent and to go for what I believe in.
Caitlin: Hey Emma, Are you coming over to Canada soon?
Emma Bunton: I'm hoping to very, very soon. It's something I've been wanting to do for the last month!
Mark: Have you heard of musical group Sugar Jones? If so, what do you think of them?
Emma Bunton: No I haven't heard of them so I don't know what they're like. I think it's been a good chance to get people out there (Popstars) but I think other artists have to work very very hard so it does kind of show other people that it is kind of easy but it's not. I think a lot of people work very very hard....
spicyandrea: Hi Emma! I 've heard that Melanie C is on your c.d, is that true? I really love your c.d, its great! Keep up the good work! Please come and tour in Toronto.
Emma Bunton: Mel C was actually on my first single on the b-side, she wasn't singing, she co-wrote it, and it's called "Free Up Your Mind".
Angie Hung: Hi Emma, What was it like working with Bryan Adams?
Emma Bunton: We wrote stuff together. Huge fan. He's actually been a fan of ours for many years, he's been very supportive. He wrote a track called 'Invincible" that's on the b-side to "Take My Breath Away" we wrote a few things that didn't make it on the album but I hope they will on the next one.
Melanie: I'd really like to say that I love your cd! It's brilliant!:) I've heard that you say the Spice Girls aren't over yet, but how does it feel doing your first solo?
Emma Bunton: It's been amazing. The support I've had from the other girls has been great. I love performing as a solo artist. It's very different. When I'm with the girls I have so much fun, on my own it's very rewarding cause you're singing tracks that you've written and people are singing them back at you. The first solo gig I did I was so nervous I didn't think I was going to make it onstage. I had to ring Melanie C and she calmed me down.
Adrian C.: Out of all the songs you've written as a solo artist and as a spice girl, which would you say most reflects you as Emma Bunton?
Emma Bunton: That's a difficult one....I think it would probably have to be "Take My Breath Away" I'm a very emotional person and my family and my friends are very important to me and this song kind of says it all really.
Jeremy C.: I just want to say HUGE THANKS for making my life so easy and cheerfull. Love your music, I listen to tl all the time!! YOU GOT THAT SOMETHING THat PEOPLE LOVE..I don't know what it is but Gan you have it!!!
Emma Bunton: that's lovely!!!! a huge thank-you and a big kiss!
Michelle: What do you think about S Club 7, since you went out with Paul and were in a commercial with Tina?
Emma Bunton: I like S Club 7 I think they're fun
sam bennett: hi emma, what made you decide to sing invincible at hmv yesterday, you did it great, you should definately do it again
Emma Bunton: Because it's such a great track and I knew that a lot of my fans were coming down and I wanted to give them a song they haven't heard much.
Sunny Spice: What is your favourite place to shop at the moment?
Emma Bunton: It would have to be Camden in London and Paris. I like clothes, I love jeans at the moment, and nice little tops that go with something quite casual.
shobhna patel: I always think how do u come an a singer because i like to know from a pop singer? i am a fan of u because are my favorite fan all the time
Emma Bunton: I started singing at quite an early age but I believe that everyone can sing, it's just about practice, the best place to sing is in your bathroom cause it sounds great. I actually went to a theatre school and I did singing lessons there.
JULIO IBARRA: WHICH WILL BE YOUR NEXT SINGLE?
Emma Bunton: The next song in Canada will be Take My Breath Away and the next song here and in Europe will be We're Not Going To Sleep Tonight.
Mark: What was your favourite video to make either solo or Spice Girl?
Emma Bunton: From the Spice Girls it would have to be Say You'll Be There, we felt like Thelma and Louise, we stayed in a motel in the middle of nowhere, it was good fun. My other track would have to be my video for "What Took You So Long" because it was my first solo video and it was my idea and it was just great to be able to express lots of ideas with a great director who allowed me to do that. It was brilliant.
Stan: Ask Question: Much of the media and fan base sees the Spice Girls glory days as a thing of the past. Do you still have a positive and productive outlook as far as the group goes, or do you feel more passionate towards your personal and solo career instead?
Emma Bunton: I feel very positive about the Spice Girls. The most important thing for us is that we're best friends and we do want to do more together. But our solo careers are very rewarding and I think we feel very lucky that we're able to do both.
Denise Korski: Emma, do you have a website where my daughter can find out more about your cd and concert tours? stephanie is a huge fan by the way. thank you for showing young girls they can have power!
Emma Bunton: YAY!, I love that! Yes, it's www.emmabunton.net You can find all you need there. I'm so please that I can be a positive role model for kids out there.
ahung from Calgary: If you were stranded on a desert island and could only take one person with you, who would that be? Would it be Jade (your boyfriend), your mother, or another person?
Emma Bunton: Oh NO! That would have to be my mother then, she's my best friend. She's just so supportive and always there for me. And if I could take one thing, it would be my album "A Girl Like Me".
thatguyjohn: Will you marry me
Emma Bunton: LAUGHS...maybe in the future, not ready yet but thank you for your offer.
Emma Bunton: I would like to say a massive thank-you for all my fans support and they're loyalty and I want to see them all very very soon so look out for my tours so I can thank you personally for everything they've done for me. Love you All Thanks You SO MUCH! Emma
