Hi yall,

Im sorry Im only just sending you this new blog, but you wont believe how busy weve been. Were rehearsing our bottoms off every day for the show. Its been so exciting being back on stage with the girls and performing all our classics!

At this very moment Im practicing the routines in my heels and Ive got the most painful blisters. But youre all worth it! : )

Our only day off so far was Thanksgiving, and we spent a beautiful day at Victorias house with lots of delicious food and wine and celebrated with our friends and families.

Beau is being the best little boy in the world, and weve got him some little ear protectors so he can watch rehearsals. As soon as he heard Wannabe he started dancing by kicking his little legs around! He is just so gorgeous.

I really cant wait for you guys to see the show. I hope you enjoy it. Not long to go now

I didn't ever think we'd make it this far! I've had an absolute blast and the girls coming to the show on Monday night was just amazing. Well done to Helio for winning (Grrrr...just kidding, ha ha ha!)

Your support over the last few weeks has been incredible. I'm back in Spice rehearsals today as we're putting the finishes touches to the show. It's going to be AWESOME.

Hi there,

So it's 10.30pm and I got home half an hour ago. We just did a run through of the show; it's feeling really good. It's hard to tell u without giving too much away... but Simon Fuller, our manager, came down and he was blown away. I think we might surprise a few people. Actually, I never thought I'd say this (because I wasn't part of the group when it was conceived so it was hard to be objective) but Holler is white hot. That's all I'm saying otherwise the girls will kill me.

Okay, so backstage... it's amazing to see how much goes into making a show - lights, catering, dressers, sounds, engineers, crew - it's like a travelling circus.

I actually feel like I'm in the Spice bubble... we are encapsulated in this world where we are just immersed in each other's lives constantly. Just before the run through of the show this morning, Mel B, Victoria and I even went to the loo together... in separate cubicles, obviously!

But of course... there's also my daughter Bluebell. She loves hanging with the Beckham boys. Cruz and Bluebell have play dates, and Romeo - well, he is just gorgeous with her. Actually, it was a beautiful moment when we were rehearsing the other day and all of our kids were playing on the stage at the same time. It made me smile.

As you probably know, Mel B was in the live final of Dancing With The Stars and we surprised her on Monday down at the show. She was so shocked, it's the first time we've ever seen her quiet! She was with us in rehearsals yesterday morning and then went to the studio in evening for the results show. She SO should have won...I'm very disappointed. But we are all so incredibly proud of her. You're a winner to us Mel!

Okay, I have to go to bed in a bit as we are working really hard on the show and I need to get some rest. If you have a ticket for the tour, you really are in for a treat. Get ready to party!

The Girls stopped by Mel's trailer minutes before the start of the show to wish her luck before taking their place in the audience to support Mel and Maksim in the final.

The first dance was the judges' choice, and Mel B scored an excellent 28 with her Cha Cha Cha. This was followed by the freestyle, where Mel scored an impressive 27 points. Geri was less than impressed with some of judge Carrie-Anne Inaba's comments, leading the rest of the Spice Girls in a chorus of boos.

First of all, we would like to thank all our fans who bought our Greatest Hist Album, it's doing great! As you know, the demand for our concert tickets in the USA and the UK has been really overwhelming. So, in order to meet that demand, it’s not possible for us to keep extending the tour because of our solo projects and family obligations. That means we are unable to hold a concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We're incredibly sorry for the delay in making this announcement, but we have been really trying to fit this date in our schedule.

To make this up for you all, we’ll be having some great competitions for our South American fans. The lucky winners will attend one of our London shows (flight and accomodation included!) and will receive an All Access Pass! Isn’t that MAJOR?

"The Spice Girls would like to make it clear that they have not cancelled their Buenos Aires show. A story has appeared on several websites that includes a fake email and competition from the girls. The fake e-mail claims that due to the demand so far in the UK and the US this show is going to be cancelled. The email goes onto say that they will be running some competitions for their South American fans to travel to the UK to watch a show. This is not the case and this email is 100% unofficial and has nothing to do with the Spice Girls."

Melanie B's commitment to Dancing with the Stars is getting in the way of practice for the Spice Girls' reunion tour. A source says:

"The opening night is days away yet there hasn't been much time for rehearsals. A lot of Mel's time has been taken up with preparations for each Dancing with the Stars [show]. The girls are really proud of her but at the same time they're worried that Mel will give her all to the dance show and be exhausted for the start of the tour. Rehearsal time has been cut down a great deal because of Mel's commitments to the TV show. It's not ideal."

The Spice Girls are in negotiations to sing the national anthem prior to the Ricky Hatton vs. Floyd Mayweather boxing match on December 8th in Las Vegas - the same night that they have a concert there. Word is that the Spices are keen to be involved in the event, which is very hot in the sporting world, and does feature a Brit. The camps are looking at the timing of their concert and the fight to see if something can be worked out. It has not been reported which national anthem they will be singing, the American one, or the English one (for their fellow countryman Ricky Hatton).

Listen to me going all LA! You are not going to believe it, the show is going to be phenomenal!

Things are getting really exciting now as we get closer to the first gig. We've started running the show and after this tour I reckon we'll all be fit enough to run a marathon. It's hardcore, even for Sporty Spice!

Last week we performed at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. It went brilliantly and was well scary. It was the first time we'd performed together since 1998! The response was overwhelming.

The crowd were cheering so loudly when we came on stage, I had to hold back the tears. My legs went all stiff and at one point if I hadn't been standing next to Emma I would've fallen over! Not a good look.

We had loads of fun in our 1940s army outfits and vintage Cavalli for Headlines (Friendship Never Ends). Did you see my hat? I wore it for BBC Children In Need too!

Lovely Seal was there – he sang with his missus, Heidi Klum. The models were gorgeous and Will.i.am from Black Eyed Peas also performed. So, it was a really top night.

At the crack of dawn the next day we were up to chat with our Terry (Wogan) for BBC Children In Need. It was weird watching the show from Melanie's Dancing With The Stars set. We all felt a little homesick.

Melanie is still doing an amazing job on Dancing With The Stars; we surprised her with a little visit. She truly is a superwoman and we are very, very proud.

We've had a busy week with the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and also BBC Children In Need but it was such an amazing feeling be back on stage together again. Geri has invited Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to a Spice Girls concert in Los Angeles. A source says:

"Geri dotes on Bluebell and only wants the very best for her. She has sent personal invites to Angelina. She thinks she is an amazing mum, and believes it would be lovely for Bluebell to meet her children. Hi everyone,

I'm currently sat in our rehearsal studio and I am about to have another fitting with the Cavalli team for our costumes. The other girls will kill me if I give anything away and I don't want to ruin any surprises... but they look amazing! Roberto and his team have done us proud.

Rehearsals are going really well, I can't believe that there are only a few weeks until the first show in Vancouver. It's really scary but exciting at the same time. David and the boys have been laughing at me because I've been wandering around the house listening to my iPod and practising the routines. We are including some parts of the old routines but bringing them up to date a bit.

All of the kids have been down to rehearsals. We have an area where they all hang out... its a Spice creche! My boys are so excited about the tour, they can't wait and I'm really looking forward to them seeing me up on stage. I just hope I don't get over emotional when I see them!

Ugly Betty was shown over here in the US on Friday, I had such a laugh filming it. If you’re in the UK then you will be able to see the episode on Channel 4 at 9pm on Friday 23 November.

This week is a really busy one for us because not only are we rehearsing for the tour but we are going to be performing at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Thursday. Friday is BBC Children In Need day in the UK and we will performing from LA. We will be doing two songs, our new single Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) and also Stop – which is going to look fantastic. I can’t give too much away but it's definitely going to be worth watching.

We've just had a break for lunch and now we're going to rehearse with our band... and I'm holding things up to write this blog so I'd better go soon!

Geri is fighting with longtime friend George Michael. Geri wanted George to write the Spice Girls' new single, to which the rest of the girls agreed. A source says:

"George was more than happy to write a song. But Geri was frustrated how long he was taking to finish it. She wrote Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) with Emma instead. George was furious. He has been fed up with Geri’s 'Me, me, me’ attitude. She’s still really good mates with his boyfriend, Kenny Goss, who's been acting as a go-between in their battle."

This story reeks of B.S. since Geri said her and Emma started working on "Headlines" before the rest of the girls even came aboard for the reunion, yet this story claims that all the girls gave concent to George Michael writing it and THEN Geri & Emma wrote it.

"Mel B isn't as scary as she used to be, she's definitely mellowed somewhat. But she's still very feisty. Ginger is a little bit lighter now, her hair is a little bit more golden. Baby's always going to be the baby, she's the youngest. And Victoria is very posh. This is our final farewell. We wanted an opportunity to get together to really celebrate everything we've achieved and give a great big thank you to our fans. We just want to make this the best pop show that a British band has ever put on."

She told Reuters in a telephone interview:

"We all hoped [the reunion] would be successful, but we're all quite overwhelmed by the actual response. That has just made us more determined to make the show the best show any British pop band has ever put on. For years I always thought I would never go back. It's a very personal thing to me. I had a lot of things to deal with after the Spice Girls, I had a lot of personal issues, and I have been very happy being a solo artist. I had to really think about my decision, but after spending time with the girls and now getting into the show I am so glad this is the decision I had made."

"We're going to be performing one of our old songs and one of our new songs, Headlines, and it's going to be very beautiful. We're hoping to get ourselves into some Victoria's Secret underwear for the show."

A reminder that on Thursday, the day before, the girls are doing the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, though I don't know how to get into that one.

"She was so nice, such a really lovely person. She was just one of the girls. She didn't bring her own make-up people or anything. She definitely came with the right attitude. If you're not willing to be humiliated then you don't belong on our show. She was ready to be humiliated, yes!"

I've done advertisements for Monsoon and spreads for men's magazines but they are supposed to be singing about being friends. Why do they have to be in their bra and pants to do that?"

"That's a load of crap. It's almost a joke. It's pathetic and silly that people choose to write silly things. It's really comical actually, because we've never gotten on better. It's the biggest laugh ever, it's like hanging around with your best buddies. We're just rolling around with laughter the whole time, we lift each other up."

British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, who is friends with Victoria, will be preparing menus of food which comply to all the girls' requirements for when the girls are on tour. A source says:

"Victoria and Gordon were larking around with the other Spice Girls and suddenly Mel B joked that Ramsay should step in and sort out their catering options. There had been a few minor disagreements in the band about the type of food the girls wanted. And while Gordon told them he couldn't personally cook for them on a daily basis because of other commitments, he did kindly offer to devise an array of menus suited to their individual requirements, which will be produced on a daily basis by top-notch chefs. He has given it a lot of thought. After all, the Spice Girls are into their own things. Victoria loves simple cuisine, like prawns, Mel B is more of a pasta girl and Mel C likes her veg. Geri is into wholesome organic produce but has several food intolerances while Emma is pretty much into eating anything as long as it is relatively low fat and fresh. So Gordon is creating a menu which combines all of their requirements and he is making sure it is fun while being extremely balanced and nutritious."

Hi, how are u?

So, I am sitting in the rehearsal studio on a lunch break. We've just finished rehearsing Who Do You Think You Are. No, I'm not going to tell you any details. You'll just have to wait and see! It's a lot of fun.

Beau is sitting opposite me on Emma's lap, giving a smile.

We're working hard and it’s like we've never been apart. I really like it when we're singing in harmony with the band. It's funny that ten years on each of us still remembers our harmony lines. It's like riding a bike – you just don’t forget. It's like it's ingrained in us.

What else can I tell you? Cruz has been looking for a pump to blow up his rocket and now he's trying on Melanie C's hoodie.

Melanie C is definitely embracing her Sporty roots today in a fetching pair of tracky bottoms. Looking gorgeous! Actually, that's Bluebell's new favourite word.

Bluebell is on her way down here in a bit. She keeps on picking up a microphone, so it's like the Waltons on tour with babies and husbands all around. Jade (Emma’s partner) is the perfect daddy. I can tell he loves being a father.

I've gotta tell you, it's been the most wonderful experience being back in Spice World. I love being part of a group and I feel this experience has done exactly what I had hoped. It has reunited us and made our friendship stronger. We have a bond that we will share for the rest of our lives.

Let me tell you, the Spice Girls are now Spice Women – full, sensual and stronger through their life experiences. It's fantastic to be around the humour, and although the pressure is on, being part of a group is a wonderful thing. I receive a lot of support and encouragement from the other girls.

We are definitely a democracy. Every morning we check in with each other and we discuss the decisions that have to be made.

We have a great band. Melanie C picked them and she cracks the whip when it comes to vocal warm-ups.

Posh Spice has been ordered on a diet to gain weight, amid fears that she will lack energy and be too weak to handle the Spice Girls' upcoming world tour. A source tells the Daily Mail (UK):

"First Victoria is going on a week-long cleanse where she will only be able to drink hot lemon water and eat organic fruit and vegetables to detox her system. She will have to keep this up for five days even though she will be training. Her new diet is based on eating small bowls of brown rice with steamed vegetables. Her favorite at the moment is steamed spinach, carrots and tomatoes. She will also be eating beetroot at every mealtime because it's a good source of fibre and iron and low in calories. She is terrified of putting on a single pound and has had to be talked into increasing her food intake. It would be very embarrassing for her if she collapses or gets ill because she’s too weak."

SEE THE NEW VIDEO TONIGHT IN THE UK

Tonight’s the night! After all the excitement and anticipation, Spice Girls fans in the UK will be able to see the video for Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) this evening on BBC One at 7.55pm – just before EastEnders. The girls will introduce the video themselves and then fans can enjoy one of the two new songs that the Spice Girls have recorded for their Greatest Hits album.

Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) is the official single for BBC Children In Need. During Children In Need night, on 16 November, viewers will be able to see a special performance of the song from Los Angeles. Every copy of the song sold will help BBC Children in Need in its aim to top last year's total of £33million.

The single will be available in the UK for download on Monday 5 November and commercially available from Monday 19 November.

While in Toronto, Mel did some interviews and talked about recent stories in the press of Spice Girls infighting. She said:

"The funny thing about the press is they always try and make scandal, and [it] couldn't be further from the truth, we all love each other. I mean, we've been best friends for the last 12 years and that's no lie. We're very close, like sisters. If we argue, it's over in like an hour and then we're back friends again. You know, us five together, we're like gossiping old ladies. We sit there with our cup of teas and talk about our kids and then do a little bit of work, a little bit of singing. It's actually really nice and very, very calming. You know, you've got five girls together, all we do is chat, chat and gossip and chat."

Mel also talked about juggling the demands of the Spice Girls with parenting and with her continued success on Dancing with the Stars:

"My feet are really swollen, but it's good. I haven't worked in about four or five years, so it's nice to get yourself back into it, my way. And if I didn't like it, I wouldn't do it."

Hello from LA, we're finally here!

Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who posted messages on my official website about the photo of Beau. Sorry it took so long to introduce him but I'm sure you'll agree he's worth the wait. Jade and I are besotted with him.

Beau took his first flight this week as he flew to the USA for our rehearsals. He was so amazing on the plane, so much so that people even commented on how good he was. I also enjoyed the flight and the Virgin Atlantic team were so helpful, so a huge thanks to them.

When we arrived in LA, it was incredibly exciting. There were lots of paparazzi photographers everywhere and it was a bit mad as I'm sure you've seen from the images – but thank goodness for sunglasses!

So we’re here in sunny LA, our home for the next few weeks whilst we prepare for The Return Of The Spice Girls tour. I can't wait to meet up with girls again to catch up on gossip, giggles, shopping... oh and of course the rehearsals. He he!

I wish I could tell you everything about the show but I don’t want to ruin any surprises. All I can say is that it is going to be fantastic and we are all working really hard to make sure that you all enjoy it.

I’m really excited about the merchandise for the tour too. I don’t know if I should tell you this but as well as T-shirts, the tour programme and the usual merchandise items, we have some baby bits. They are SO cute! I can’t wait to get some for Beau.

Don’t forget that the exclusive first play of the video for Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) will be on BBC1 in the UK on Friday night, just before EastEnders. We are all really pleased with it and hope that you like it too. We had great fun filming it.

Before I go, I want to say well done to Mel B for scoring ten out of ten with all of the judges on Dancing With The Stars this week. We’re all really proud of her. You go Melanie!

Mel B is upset at the other girls for not showing up to support her on Dancing with the Stars this past Monday, since they are all now in Los Angeles. A source says:

"The show means a lot to Mel B and it was a big disappointment that the other girls weren't there. Her husband Stephen Belafonte has been backing her all the way, but it would have been nice for her to have her bandmates cheering her too."

Besides releasing their Greatest Hits album through them (Story), and performing at their fashion show (Story), the Spice Girls are in negotiations with Victoria's Secret to pose for their lingerie. A source says:

"The girls are working out like crazy to ensure there's no need for any airbrushing afterwards. The shoot wouldn’t be tacky in any way and each girl would wear lingerie appropriate to their character."

The pictures will be released on November 15th, just before the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that day.
