Victoria Breaks Dress Code

Victoria along with husband David Beckham and son Brooklyn attended the wedding of Manchester United star Phil Neville and Julie Killilea. Guests were asked to wear United colors of red, white, and black. Victoria however broke the dress code and wore a brown and black lacy strapless dress.

Posh Christmas Gift

Victoria has given her husband David Beckham a £40,000 crucifix pendant for Christmas. The crucifix is 3 inches tall made from white gold and encrusted with dozens of square-cut diamonds. It has a long white chain along with it. It was secretly made by top jewellers Theo Fennell. Some say that the pendant is in the style of something a rapper would wear. David Beckham is apparently into hip-hop culture and listens to a lot of rap music at home.

Victoria has gotten into an argument with screen star Joan Collins. Victoria done 30-second interviews with various celebrities for her show Victoria's Secrets including Elton John, Roger Moore, and Brad Pitt. Joan Collins is the only celeb that demanded to be paid for the 30-second bit. Not only that, but she demanded £8,000 for the 30-seconds of air time! Victoria said:

"I was relying on favours from friends in the showbiz world for interviews. But Joan didn't want to play ball. We just can't pay the money she's asking for. I think she's been very cheeky indeed."

More About Brooklyn Attack

Victoria spoke to BBC Radio 1 about the attack towards her baby Brooklyn last week(Story), explaining what happened. Victoria said:

"We were coming out, I was in front of David. There was loads of paparazzi around and someone, you know people will do anything to try and get a picture, they don't care, they don't feel guilty. This is a like a 10 month old baby who is scared, there's lots of cameras around, people screaming and shouting. Brooklyn was crying his little heart out and I just wanted to get him safely in the car. People were pushing him about, trying to grab at him to try and get a picture. They can see he's crying and getting really upset and they still carry on and on, you know. I don't like it."

The Spice Girls talked about their wax doubles which they helped unveil last week(Story).

Victoria: "I've actually just had a grope of myself, so that's what it must feel like for David"

Emma: "We've all been kissing each other!"

Melanie G: "We kissed ourselves to see what it would be like to kiss ourselves! Don't you feel like a bit spooked out by it?"

Melanie C: "I think that might actually give children nightmares!"

Melanie G: "We had to strip naked and they got like this tiny tape measure and they'd measure every part of your body. So it was like getting massaged as well. No, I'm only joking! We were fully clothed!"

Here is a picture of the Spice Girls posing with their wax clones. -> Thanks Mario.

Spice Girls Plan Split

RUMOR WARNING

The Spice Girls are preparing to announce plans to break up next year once their third album is released. The girls called a series of meetings with lawyers and record company bosses on Friday to discuss how to break the news to their fans. The four girls themselves held a private meeting between them at London's Metropolitan Hotel on Friday morning before going on to Virgin Record headquarters to talk to their legal team. The girls want to concentrate on solo careers and that Victoria and Mel C were keen to make their plans public as soon as possible. This idea was rejected by the record company. A 'close source' said:

"The girls are showing a united front but privately they are finding it difficult to juggle the band with solo projects and family commitments. Something has to give, and it looks likely to be the band."

Thanks Alessio.

Brooklyn's Christmas Gift

Posh Spice Victoria Beckham was interviewed by British tabloid the Sunday People, and she talked about Brooklyn's Christmas gift. Victoria said:

"We have got him a little drum kit and some sticks so he can bang around on it. And we are going to get some other little musical instruments as well. He just loves it when we put music on in the house. He can't keep still. He bounces up and down and moves around to the music. He waves his hands in the air and even tries to sing along. He's got strong legs like his dad and he's very advanced for his age. He isn't quite walking yet but he can stand already. Obviously Spice Girls are his favourite. He loves it when I put Mama on the stereo. He sings along in the chorus, repeating Mama, mama, mama. Brooklyn loves music so much we're even thinking of getting him a little Walkman to take around with him."

Victoria Fights Off Brooklyn Attack

Just hours before the Spice Girls' Earl Court concert in London Victoira and David Beckham along with their baby Brooklyn were doing some Christmas shopping at Harrods(London Store). As the family left the store a crazed man approached them screaming "I just want a picture of me and Brooklyn together. Please, please let me." The man then tried to grab the child from David Beckham's arms. Victoria instantly globbered the man. She furiously pushed him and he fell to the ground. David strongly held on to Brooklyn and the family dived into a waiting car. Victoria spoke about the incident the next day. She said:

"I was really frightened. He just came out of nowhere and grabbed Brooklyn. I couldn't believe what was going on. I gave him a massive push out of the way and we got into the car quickly. It was horrible. But I did what any mother would do. David and I were both shocked by the whole incident, as any parent would be. I was defending my baby and didn't want anything to happen to him. I feared for Brooklyn's life. I just didn't know what was going on. A lot of things went through my mind but my priority was Brooklyn. I was really scared. It's a horrible thing for any parent to go through. I'm just glad Brooklyn is safe and none of us were hurt."

Spice Girls Talk About Plans

In a recent interview with British tabloid The Sun, Spice Girls updated us on the third album status, and talked about next year's touring. Spice Girls said:

Mel G: "We're going to finish our third album in the first few weeks of the new year, fingers crossed. When we tour next year we want to go to places we missed out on our last tour. I'd love to go to Japan and Australia."

Emma: "I know we're still finishing our third album but we want to do another one. We love doing our solo stuff but we want to carry on releasing material as the Spice Girls as well."

Mel C said: "It's going to be different from the other two. There are a lot more tracks from different styles. We've got dance stuff, R&B and ballads - a real mixture which we hope the fans will like. The Spice Girls have moved on and so has our sound. We've worked with a lot of top producers such as Rodney Jerkins, who has worked with Whitney Houston. We played some of our new material at the concerts in Manchester and were really nervous about how the fans would react to it. But it went down a storm and it was such a huge relief. We just can't wait to tour and play our new songs. It doesn't matter how many times we go on stage, we still get nervous. We've still got our little superstitions. There is one thing we do all together - but I'm not going to say what it is."

Victoria: "We both[Her and MelG] wear odd socks. We did it on day one and have done it ever since."

Victoria laughed off rumours that she has had the name of hubby David's team, Man United, tattooed on her back. She said:

"I don't know where the story came from but I haven't. It's a funny rumour, though."

Liverpool fan Mel C piped up: "If it was, I'd kick you up the arse."

Finally Melanie C talked about buying Christmas gifts for her family and friends with their hectic schedule especially at the moment. Mel C said:

"It gets harder each year. We try to get presents which top the year before but it's really difficult."

MelC Knocks Millennium Prayer

Melanie C joined the ranks of George Michael by bashing the current number 1 single in the UK for the third week in a row "Millennium Prayer" by Sir Cliff Richard. The song has recieved very much media scrutany, and has not been played by many major radio stations. Melanie C said:

"It's a complete pile of shit. It's nothing new. It's put together very cheaply and it's ripping off the fans. If it was any good, I'd say 'Good on you, Cliff,' but it's not. It's terrible."

No, i don't know what the story is with this song, apart that it's Cliff Richard's like 127th single or something.

MelG Tries To Save Marriage

Melanie G is trying to save her 15 month old marriage to Jimmy Gulzar. The couple have been reported to have many disagreements, constant arguments, and always on the virge of splitting up. Melanie G reveals that for Christmas she wants her marriage to be saved, by going on a second honeymoon with Jimmy and spending as much time focusing only on each other as possible. Close friends say that the problems stem from their lifestyles - Melanie always busy with music both in a solo sense and with the Spice Girls, and Jimmy feels that she doesn't have time for him. Melanie said:

"We've been through hell and back. But we are certain there is something worth saving. We've still got this chance to make it work. I still love Jimmy and I know that he feels the same about me. Christmas away together will be our opportunity to prove what we have still got. There have been times when all we could seem to do was argue. But the fact that we've now managed to patch things up again shows just how much we really are in love. We want to take control of the situation this time rather than let things take control of us. Before, the situation just got worse every time. Maybe Jimmy and I didn't realise just how hard it would be holding down a steady relationship when we first got married. With me being involved with the Spice Girls and with my solo career taking off too it has only put added pressure on things. Lately I've had the current Spice Girls tour to prepare for while at the same time we've also been in the studio recording the next album. With Jimmy and I doing different things, it's bound to create conflicts. But actually the problems we've been having with our marriage are the same as those millions of others experience. And as anyone who's been there knows, it's horrible."

"It's far from over, we're gonna do it all again in the year 2000."

Melanie G said:

"People keep saying we're finished. Well, I've got news for them. We've got our third album out next year and we're gonna play again for our fans. We're entering phase three of the Spice Girls. The first one was Spice, the second SpiceWorld, now it's going to be Spice 2000."

Emma added:

"We've all done solo projects but it's exciting now we're the Spice Girls again. It's woman power now, not girl power. We've grown up and are doing our own things but we're still the Spice Girls, just a bit older."

Daily Mail VS Posh Spice

The battle between British tabloid Daily Mail and Victoira Beckham wages on. You'd think that the Daily Mail would shut up after Victoria fired back at their claims of her having a weight problem and calling her Skeleton Spice, bringing her to tears(Story). But to no avail, it seems that Victoria's critism of the Daily Mail's name calling and not leaving her alone has only caused them to continue the attacks. The Daily Mail soon after wrote up another story on Victoria with the header "What IS wrong with Posh?", which claimed that she is "starting to look like a scrawny chicken." The attacks were full throttle the next day as the paper posted four anti-Beckham articles. In perhaps the boldest move yet, the next day the Daily Mail printed a simulated nude photo of their publicity-shy editor Paul Dacre which is quoted as being a "gargantuan in girth and painfully thin on top". The photo was placed beside a shot of Victoria, with the question "Who has the best body? We are sure, that in the interests of fair play, Mr Dacre will have no objection to us putting his own appearance up against the woman he so reviles."

MelC Talks About Pop

Sporty Spice Melanie C has recently talked with MTV News(US) and expressed her feelings on the current state of pop music and where the Spice Girls stand in it. Melanie said:

"Initially we were standing up there for Girl Power and everything, which is fantastic. Now there's a lot of girl bands. There's a lot more female artists, maybe not having to do with us, but you know, it's made it more acceptable, and in Britain there's some great pop out there... and there's a lot of terrible pop out there, which is a shame. But that's always the way. When something comes out in fashion, when something becomes successful, everybody jumps on the bandwagon. So that's something which is quite sad, but it was gonna happen. It was gonna happen anyway, and I mean, I feel now music is... enough already with the pop. You know, I think it's time for the next stage, thank you very much. I mean, okay, Spice Girls - we're a pop band, but I think we're the more sophisticated end of pop. I like to think so, anyway."

Thanks to Zila.

Back In Concert

The Spice Girls performed their first concert in over a year today. All went well. The girls emerged from the ground in a mist of smoke, dressed in different colored sequinned outfits. Melanie C said to the crowd "We've missed you." Melanie G shouted "We're Back!" to the thousands at Manchester Evening News Arena. Melanie G wore a tiny bra top and mini skirt. Melanie C wore split trousers. They started the concert with a spectacular laser show and "Spice Up Your Life". They sang "Mama", "Too Much", "Wannabe", previewed three new songs, and mock snow fell during "Goodbye", in which a choir assisted the girls with the song. The show ended with "Viva Forever". There were many more songs performed and the whole concert was about two hours long. The Spice Girls will be touring England for the rest of the month.

Golf Course

Posh Spice Victoria Beckham and her husband David are having a private golf course built on the 24-acre backyard of their new home. David wants the garden to look just like a Spanish golf course, complete with palm trees and other exotic plants. The construction will cost at least £100,000. Victoria commented:

"At the moment I am envisaging trees on the course with exotic plants on the perimeter. If I get the contract it will be the biggest job I have ever done and my first golf course. It's very exciting."

Victoria Fires Back!

Victoria has fired back at tabloids and the media in an exclusive interview in this morning's issue of The Mirror(UK) for accusing her of being anorexic, too thin, and calling her "Skeleton Spice". Here is Victoria's lengthy statement. Victoria's mother Jacqui phoned into Capital radio today as well when asked for commentary about Victoria's statement. Jackqui said that the tabloids have gone too far this time and are simply ridiculous, when everything in reality is going well for Victoria and her family.

Go Victoria!! Hit em' up!
