Viva Forever Video Released

Sorry it took me so long to get around to finally posting
this news. The Viva Forever video has had it's premier.
Apparently it is totally animated and features two children
running through the woods as well as the 5 original Spice
Girls as fairies.

Corrections

Penfold beat me to correcting my post about the Mel B album.
It is not an album but infact a song for the soundtrack to
the movie "Why Do Fools Fall In Love". Another thing that
should be added to the recent Total Request MTV post. Email

Mel B isn't working on a solo album, she is however working
on a track with Missy Elliot for a soundtrack to a "really
cool film".

PS: Watch Channel 4 in the UK on Monday at 6pm BST for

interview since the break up.

MelB Announces Solo Album

Melanie Brown is the first Spice Girl to disclose that she
is working on a solo album. She said that she will be
heading into the recording studio with Missy "Misdemeanour"
Elliott during the Spice Girls US concert tour.

Spice Girls U.S. Tour Underway

The girls kicked off their US tour today in West Palm Beach,
Florida. Reviews of the show have been good. It seems that
they haven't changed their linup of songs too much. The
concert still started with "If You Can't Dance". The roster
of songs for the rest of the concert has not been brought to
my attention yet.

Spice Girls Sing With Pavarotti

The Spice Girls put on their first show since the departure
of Geri Halliwell. They rehersed in perfect harmony and had
a very good concert. They sang Viva Forever with Pavarotti.
At a press conference before their performance they wouldn't
answer any questions about Geri's departure but in a
conference later on they said that they were indeed very
shocked and stunned by Geri's decision. The girls also
talked a bit about their third album and the possibility of
there being solo albums out by them at the same time as the
third album. They said they were not splitting up and are
looking forward to their US Concert Tour.

US Promoters to refuse ticket refunds

US Promoters for the Spice Girls concerts have stated that
they will not be giving refunds on tickets as a result
of Geri leaving the Spice Girls. So this may mean that a
lot of fans who couldn't get tickets first time round, may
be able to get ones that are being sold off.

There is going to be a concert in Los Angeles on August 16th
at a 65,000 seater stadium. This was added today, and is
their biggest seater stadium concert that they will play

Top Of The Pops to play last recording of all 5 Spice Girls singing together

Tomorrow's (Friday) Top Of The Pops on BBC 1 will show the
last recording of the Spice Girls with Geri singing
together. They will sing the new single Viva Forever which

MelC heads downtown

Melanie C was in downtown Dublin in an exersize gym as well
as shopping in a posh store. When asked about Geri's
departure she told reporters that she didn't want to talk
about it and to stop asking her. Emma and Mel C are both
in Dublin at the moment working on some songs for the next
Spice Girls album at a recording studio.

The Spice Girls' latest advertising deal suggests that the
group knew Geri had quit as long as a week ago.

On Wednesday (last week) the posed for official promo photos
for Walkers Cheetos without Geri. A spokeswoman describes
Chester Cheetah, the crisp brand's mascot as "the new
Ginger Spice"

in the 2nd week of July (13th).
